JoanovArc were founded in late 2004 by sisters Samantha and Shelley Walker.

Embarking on a quest to create the best female band in the UK, they were lucky enough to meet Debbie Wildish - a very talented, dynamic drummer, at Backstreet Studios in London.

Debbie had moved to London from Colchester with the aim to fulfil her dream of becoming a successful pro-drummer and was on the lookout for other musicians with the same ambition.

Before they met Debbie, the Walker sisters had already been on quite a journey - performing with many different musicians on television shows such as T.F.I. Friday, T4 on Channel 4, VH1 and MTV Europe. They toured extensively in the UK and Europe, being interviewed on many radio shows, including Iron Maiden front man Bruce Dickinson's programme on BBC6.

With their new drummer they could finally put together the band they have always wanted and with their wealth of experience they have been busy building up their profile.

As a result of an ever-growing list of mind-blowing performances, JoanovArc have built up a fantastic loyal following, ranging from trendy teenagers to old rockers.

JoanovArc have performed at venues such as the Meanfiddler, the Garage downstairs (a sell out gig), the Barfly, The Pitz in Milton Keynes, Islington Bar Academy, Café de Paris, plus many other great venues around the UK. They have recently toured Slovakia, performing at the Harley Davidson Chopper Show in Bratislava where they were very well received. The girls have also played UK festivals such as Strawberry Fair, Rhythms of the World and the Pink Festival.

The band have worked with video company Banned Produxions, who have a great belief in JoanovArc and have been following the girls around the UK filming their shows, the results of which can be found on their website - www.bannedproduxionstv.net

The girls have an abundance of material and are constantly writing. Sam, Shell and Debs have recently been recording at Stakeout Studios in Middlesex, creating a 3 track CD produced by themselves and Jason Wilcock.
